Occasional Childcare Program

(Licensed with the Dept of Education and Early Childhood Development

With fully qualified staff)

Mondays - Wednesdays 3 hour session (or part thereof)

9.30 to 12.30 (Cost: $20/ $35 for 2 children)

Fridays: 4 hour session (or part thereof)

9.30—1.30 (Cost: $25/ $45 for 2 children)

Playgroups

Selby Playgroup— Thursday mornings from 10 to 12 in school terms. Newcomers very welcome. Cost: $2 per family

Natural Parenting Playgroup- Meets on Tuesdays from

9.30am - 12pm in school terms. Contact: Michelle 9754 3195

Tuesday afternoon Playgroup - Meets on Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Most suitable for 6 - 12 month old. Cost $2 per family.

Wednesday Playgroup– New members welcome. Most suitable for 1 to 3 year olds. Wednesdays 3—5 pm. Cost: $2 per family

Planned Activity Group

An Activity Group which supports low care participants (and high care accompanied by their carer). The program is aimed at people in the community who may be socially or physically isolated and offers an opportunity for social interaction and friendship. Inclusive of of frail, older people, people with dementia or acquired brain injury; people from culturally and diverse backgrounds; people who are financially disadvantaged and people with disabilities.

Wednesdays - fortnightly 1:00 - 3:00 pm (during school terms)

Transport may be available. Music and sing-a-longs, gentle exercise, art and craft, theme days; etc. Afternoon tea & refreshments. Special lunch at the end of each term. $2.00 donation.

MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH SERVICE

The Shire of Yarra Ranges Maternal and Child Health Service is provided to all residents FREE of charge and offers information, advice and personal support in caring for babies and children up to six years of age. The Selby service operates within Selby Community House.
